Ethiopian Berbere seasoning is the culinary foundation of the Ethiopian cuisine, also popular in Eritrea. Berbere is pronounced as “bare-bare-ee”. The spice blend brings a warm, fragrant flavour, which is used for roasting, grilling and stews. While historians do not know much about Ethiopian cuisine prior to the 13th century, it is believed that berbere seasoning came about around 5 BC. Our seasoning is manufactured from all-natural herb and spice ingredients with no artificial flavours and colours.
Usage: Seasonings are added to enhance the flavour and aroma of a dish. Use on a variety of meats, fish and vegetables to create flavourful and aromatic meals or simply sprinkle to bring on newer experiences. Our seasonings are concentrated blends, usage is as appropriate/desired.
